Yale New Haven Hospital, Surgical Pathology
Renovations and modifications to the hospital’s surgical pathology department were completed in five phases while the existing lab remained in full operation. The renovation included demolition, new electrical, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, fire protection, and exhaust hoods. New finishes included floors, walls, and ceilings. Preconstruction planning was also performed to help minimize the impact on day-to-day operations, reduce construction costs, and maximize efficiency.
