Yale University, School of Medicine, Center for Medical Simulation
A new state-of-the-art medical simulation center was constructed for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Located in the Seamco Building, the existing space was completely gutted and rebuilt with new mechanical systems, skylights, and structural support for the open space design, which was a 20’ piece of steel installed past power lines and through windows. High-end finishes consist of curved acid glass, curved soffits, cherry wood veneer walls, tile flooring, and soffit lighting.
