St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Hybrid Operating Room #10

Renovations for this new state-of-the-art hybrid operating room included substantially expanding the existing suite layout, structural reinforcement of the floor from below, and new steel above the ceiling to support new equipment. Construction of this complex medical suite allowed for a new control room, a new decon room, and the relocation of the alcove storage area to a new alcove in the mechanical room. Completed on a fast-track basis, most of the work was performed during normal working hours in a high-risk patient care area.
