Yale New Haven Hospital, Emergency Department Annex

Yale New Haven Hospital was in need of additional space for their emergency department due to overflow. Located at the hospital’s West Pavilion entrance, the flash-track construction of this 10,000-square-foot temporary building was completed in three months. The new annex includes 35 patient bays, 9 nursing stations, bathrooms, and support spaces. An enclosed hallway connects the annex to the existing main entrance.
