Yale New Haven Hospital, Interventional Radiology Suite
Renovations and modifications to the Diagnostic Radiology Department included two new angiography laboratories and a neuro-angiography laboratory, as well as control rooms and support spaces. The scope consisted of structural reinforcement of the floors, a new partition layout, millwork, a new shielding system, finishes, and the installation of three state-of-the-art IR imaging machines. Work was performed in two phases while the adjacent operating rooms were in use. Special care and constant coordination were required with the operating room staff on the floor and with hospital staff members on the floors above and below the work.
