The project scope entailed multi-phased renovations to the partially occupied building’s core and shell, interior, and site. Interior work consisted of a fit-out of the third floor and miscellaneous renovations to the first and second floors, as well as a complete elevator upgrade. The lobby was renovated with stone flooring and beautiful quartered, figured Anigre wood paneling fabricated, finished, and installed by the Petra millshop. The building also received an energy conservation upgrade consisting of new solar PV panels, energy-efficient windows, and insulated exterior walls. In addition to the roof replacement and reconfiguration along the perimeter, a new rooftop mechanical system was installed and structural steel was added underneath to support the new solar PV panels. Site work included adding concrete sidewalks, lighting, an entrance canopy with a skylight, and a green wall to cover utilities.
